[clearall]The 12 Days of Christmas countdown is something that I remember looking forward to as a child each year during the holidays. The countdown would begin at #12 and countdown until Christmas Eve. Our presents usually consisted of candies or small toys or when we got older ounces of food, that came packaged with the number of the day. Then on Christmas Eve we were allowed to open our #1 present which was usually a larger toy, book, DVD or PJs that we could use that night.
Since all of the kids are older now and it’s less exciting to get that pack of 12 ramen noodles, so instead I’ve decided to carry on the tradition this year by sharing some of my and some of my fellow baker friends’ favorite holiday cookie recipes! 🙂 There is nothing like baking a fresh batch of cookies to get into the holiday spirit!
