Happy November, friends! If somehow you missed the memo, you should know that we are all about fall around here. Warm gooey comfort food, cuddly blankets, fuzzy boots, and snuggling up by the fire. Mmmmmmm, I’m getting the warm-fuzzies just thinking about it. I’ve been searching for some fallspiration from around the interwebs, and I’ve decided to share the top 10 things on my to-bake list for this fall in this round-up of some of the coziest dessert and sweets recipes! Hopefully it helps get you in the fall mood!
1. Pumpkin Spice Latte Nutella Muffins
Whoa. Hold up. Pumpkin Spice Latte AND Nutella!? Shut the front door. Mind. Blown. P.S. these are gluten free and dairy free so everyone can enjoy them. Unless of course you are allergic to pumpkin. Or chocolate. In which case your life is pretty much ruined forever anyway.
2. Apple Pie in a Jar
Because everyone loves things that are wee and every thing is better when it comes in a mason jar. Freaking adorable.
3. Mini Caramel Apple Pops
Ermahgerd! Just look at these wee little caramel apple pops! I tend to avoid caramel apples because they are so messy to eat! There is nothing like biting into a giant caramel apple and getting sticky caramel all over your face, hands, in your hair, up your nose. Maybe it is just me, but I am a mess! These are like the perfect compromise: A cute bit-sized taste of gooey caramel apple without the need for a hose down afterwards.
4. Salted Caramel Apple Pie Pizza Cookie
While we are on the topic of caramel apples, here is another way I would much rather eat a caramel apple…as a pizza cookie. Let me say that again. PIZZA. COOKIE. *boom*
5. Copycat Pumpkin Spice Latte Syrup
One of my favorite things about Fall is a toasty warm pumpkin spice latte. Be your own barista and save a pretty penny by making your own PSLs at home. And unlike the “name brand” PSL (who only started using real pumpkin this year after much internet trolling) this recipe has ALWAYS used real pumpkin. Sip on that, *$.
6. Pecan Pie Cake
Traditional pecan pie gets a super mashup makeover in this Pecan Pie Cake recipe! I am pretty sure it is made of magic. Add that one to the Thanksgiving dinner list!
7. Samoas Inspired Ghiradelli S’mores
Chilly weather means fire pits and fire places. And fires mean s’mores. Why not fancy things up a bit with this swanky s’mores recipe inspired by my favorite Girl Scout Cookie! Yes please!
8. Indoor S’mores
But if a fireplace or roaring bonfire aren’t easily accessible to you, don’t despair, you can make these indoor s’mores! Crisis averted.
9. Pumpkin French Toast Bake
Sweet things are pretty much a staple for a good fall brunch (or breakfast for dinner!). This recipe marries my fave fall flave and my fave sweet breakfast food. I’m drooling already.
10. Pumpkin Creme Brulee
A dessert round-up wouldn’t be complete with at least ONE fancy schmancy treat! This pumpkiny take on a classic creme brulee is sure to up your game at the holiday pot luck. Plus any excuse to play with our mini blow torch is a win in my book.
And There you have it. All the faves on my to-bake list for this fall. Despite how Matt might feel about this festive season… we are pretty convinced that fall is the best thing ever. <3
Happy Fall Y’all!
